Huron Valley theater to host ‘Road Rally’ fundraiser Nov. 7
The Huron Valley Community Theater in Milford is hosting a ‘Road Rally’ event Nov. 7 to help raise funds for the nonprofit group.
“This event is our annual fundraiser,” said Huron Valley Community Theater President Linda Foran. “We usually showcase our incredible local talent in a Cabaret-type show, but thought it would be great fun to hold an entertainment-themed road rally.”
Participants in the “Everything Entertainment! Road Rally” will have to solve a series of clues and puzzles throughout the Huron Valley School District and nearby cities before reaching the undisclosed endpoint for a celebration and awarding of prizes.
Bonus points will be awarded to those who arrive at the final location wearing a hat tied to a movie, play, musical, book, song or sports, the theater reported.
The rally will begin at 6 p.m. with check in at 5:30 p.m. at the starting location, 3010 Union Lake Rd. in Commerce Township. Their is an entry fee of $10 for each participant.
The deadline to enter the rally is Friday Oct. 23, and registration can be completed online at www.roadrallyinfo.com or www.hvcommunitytheater.org.
